Pomeroy lets your AI assistant read your Apple Calendar and Reminders on your Mac, add events and reminders, and tick things off. It never deletes either. Ask what your week looks like and your assistant reads your Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders on your Mac, then answers from both at once: what is booked, what is due, and where the two collide. It can add an event, add a reminder, and tick a reminder off when you ask. It cannot delete an event or a reminder, and ticking one off is the only change it can make to a reminder you already have. Uses [Calendar](/docs/apps/calendar) and [Reminders](/docs/apps/reminders). ## How do I ask what my week looks like? Ask in one sentence. Your assistant reads across every calendar your Mac shows and every reminder list you keep, then answers from both: the meetings you have, the jobs that are due, and the days that are already full. Times come back in your Mac's own time zone. Ask a real question rather than for a dump of everything. "What does my week look like?" gets you the shape of it; "Am I free on Friday afternoon?" gets you something you can act on. Reminders come back with the unfinished ones first and the soonest due date at the top, so what is late is the first thing you read. ```text theme={null} What does my week look like? What do I need to do today? Am I free on Friday afternoon? What's overdue? What's on my calendar today? ``` ## Can it add to my calendar and my lists? Yes, when you ask. Your assistant can create an event, with a location and notes if you give them, change an event you name, create a reminder with a due date, and mark a reminder done. It changes only the fields you mention, and a recurring event changes only the occurrence you named. That is the whole of what it writes. Nothing is created or changed unless you asked for it in that sentence, and there is no action for deleting an event or a reminder, so the week you planned cannot be tidied away on your behalf. ```text theme={null} Add lunch with Priya on Thursday at 1pm. Mark 'book the MOT' as done. ``` ## What can it tell me that one app cannot? Because your calendar and your reminders are read in the same conversation, you can ask questions that need both. A deadline on Thursday and a full Thursday is a clash you can only see when the two are read together, and that is the sort of thing worth asking about on a Monday morning. Whatever your assistant reads becomes part of your conversation with it, the same as text you paste in yourself. Nothing from either app is sent to Pomeroy: there is no Pomeroy account and nowhere of Pomeroy's for it to go. ## A Monday morning, start to finish Start with the shape of the week. Every calendar your Mac shows is read, and the answer says which days are full and which are not. Then ask what is due. Your reminder lists come back unfinished first, soonest due date at the top, so a job that is late is the first thing you see. Add what the week is missing, one sentence at a time: an event with a time and a place, a reminder with a due date. Only the fields you gave are filled in. Close the loop at the end of the day by asking for the finished jobs to be marked done. That is the only change possible to a reminder, and it cannot be un-ticked afterwards. ## What Pomeroy will not do here * Delete an event. * Delete a reminder, or a list. * Change a reminder once it is made, other than marking it done. * Send or answer invitations. * Create or rename a reminder list. None of those has an action behind it, so no phrasing reaches them. Pomeroy never deletes anything, in any app.
