Version 1.0.7

Changelog
Every released version of Pomeroy, newest first. The same list the app updates itself from. Where an update is worth reading about, the update prompt on your Mac describes it.

Keeping Pomeroy up to date is on by default. While Pomeroy is running it looks once a day, and installs a new version quietly in the background, so most people never come to this page. Every update is signed, and one whose signature does not match the bytes is thrown away rather than installed.
You can switch that off in Settings, under General. Pomeroy then never asks again, and Check for Updates… in the same pane is the only thing that looks. Configuration covers that pane and the four beside it.
Click the tree icon in your menu bar, choose Settings, and read the foot of the sidebar. If something is wrong, quote that number in an email to hello@pomeroy.app and it is clear which build you mean. Every version listed above was signed and notarised by Apple before it was published, which is what lets macOS open it without a warning.
Older builds keep their addresses. A link to a version further down this list still resolves, so a bookmark or a link in an old email does not rot, and the update feed can carry every release rather than only the newest one.
A version here is not a milestone. Any change that passes the full set of checks is published as its own release, so the list grows in small steps rather than in occasional large ones. Most entries are a fix nobody outside would notice, or a test that now holds something that used to be held by hand. A number moving is not a promise that anything you use has changed.
What that buys is that a fix reaches you in a day rather than waiting for enough company to justify a release. It is also why this page carries dates and numbers and nothing else: most weeks, a paragraph about each version would be a paragraph about nothing.
