About these terms

Pomeroy is developed by its founder, Joe Saunderson. By installing or using Pomeroy, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software. Questions can be sent to hello@pomeroy.app.

Licence and permitted use

A paid licence gives you a personal, non-exclusive right to use Pomeroy on one Mac at a time. You may move the licence by deactivating it on one Mac and activating it on another, as often as you like. The licence includes updates to Pomeroy 1; a later major version may require a separate purchase.

You may not resell, sublicense, distribute, or make Pomeroy available to others, or reverse engineer it except to the extent that applicable law permits those activities despite this restriction. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Free use, payment, and refunds

Without a paid licence, Pomeroy provides up to 50 actions each week. The free allowance may change for future installs. A paid licence currently costs $19 as a one-time purchase.

Lemon Squeezy processes purchases as merchant of record, and its checkout terms also apply. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase for any reason. This refund policy and these terms do not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.

Your responsibilities

Pomeroy acts on your instructions and can read or change information in Mac apps for which you grant access. You are responsible for your instructions, for checking results before relying on them, for maintaining appropriate backups, and for using Pomeroy lawfully. Do not use Pomeroy to access information or systems without permission.

Third-party services

Pomeroy works with AI assistants such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and VS Code, each provided by its own maker. Pomeroy is independent of all of them. Your use of an assistant is subject to its maker’s terms and may require a separate account or payment. Purchases and licence checks also depend on the third-party services described in the privacy policy.

Availability and changes

Pomeroy may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued. Features can depend on macOS, your AI assistant, connected apps, and third-party services that Pomeroy does not control. There is no guarantee that every feature will remain available or work with every future version of those services.

These terms may be updated when the product or legal requirements change. Updated terms will be published on this page with a new date. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights already granted by a paid licence, except where required by law or needed to address security or misuse.

Warranties and liability

Pomeroy is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no warranty is given that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pomeroy’s total liability arising from the software or these terms is limited to the amount you paid for Pomeroy. Pomeroy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, business, data, or opportunity, or for failures caused by third-party services. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Termination and general terms

Your right to use a paid licence ends if the purchase is refunded, the licence is revoked by the merchant, or you materially breach these terms and do not remedy the breach after notice where a remedy is possible. The app may then return to the free allowance.

If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. Nothing in these terms limits the mandatory protections or courts available to you under the law where you live.
