How to connect Claude to Apple Notes

Pomeroy works inside Anthropic’s Claude Desktop, which is free. Get Claude Desktop first if you do not have it yet.

  1. 1

    Download Pomeroy.

Open the download, drag Pomeroy into Applications, and open it. Pomeroy adds an icon to your menu bar and opens a setup window listing every app it can connect. They all start switched off.

  2. 2

    Switch on Notes.

macOS asks whether Pomeroy may control Notes, which is how one Mac app reads another's notes. The prompt names Pomeroy, and nothing is requested until you flip the toggle.

  3. 3

    Set up the Claude extension.

Press Set up Claude extension and Claude Desktop asks to install it, with no file to find.

  4. 4

    Ask Claude.

Try “Find my note about the boiler pressure.” and a real answer comes back.
