Can Claude Code see my Apple Calendar?

Can Claude Code change my calendar?

Yes, when you ask. Claude Code can create an event and change one you name, and it changes only the fields you mention. A recurring event changes only that one occurrence. It cannot delete an event.

Is it safe to connect Claude Code to Apple Calendar?

Pomeroy reads your calendar on your Mac and sends nothing to a Pomeroy server. What Claude Code reads becomes part of your conversation, the same as text you paste in. Calendar starts switched off, and you can switch it off again at any time. Pomeroy is an independent app, not made by Anthropic.
