    In VS Code, run MCP: List Servers from the Command Palette and pomeroy is listed as running. In Copilot chat, agent mode shows Pomeroy's tools.

Can VS Code read my Apple Mail?

Yes. Once you switch Mail on in Pomeroy, VS Code can list your mailboxes, read messages, and search your mail. Searches cover subjects and senders, and message bodies through an index built and kept on your Mac.

Can VS Code send email for me?

No. Pomeroy has no way to send, reply, or forward, so VS Code cannot be talked into it. If you want a reply written, VS Code can draft the words and you send them yourself.

Is it safe to connect VS Code to Apple Mail?
