    Download Pomeroy and switch on Apple Reminders.

    Open the download, drag Pomeroy into Applications, and open it. Pomeroy opens a setup window listing every app it can connect. macOS asks whether Pomeroy may access your reminders. The prompt names Pomeroy, and nothing is requested until you flip the toggle.

    Press Set up beside JetBrains AI Assistant.

    Pomeroy puts the configuration on your clipboard as JSON. In your IDE, open Settings › Tools › AI Assistant › Model Context Protocol (MCP), press + and choose As JSON, paste, and set Level to Global so every JetBrains IDE gets it.

    Paste it into JetBrains AI Assistant.

    Paste the configuration into Settings › Tools › AI Assistant › Model Context Protocol (MCP) › + › As JSON. The MCP list in that settings pane shows Pomeroy with a green status once you press Apply.

Yes, when you ask. JetBrains AI Assistant can mark a reminder done, and that is the only change it can make to an existing reminder. It cannot delete one, and it cannot un-tick one.

Is it safe to connect JetBrains AI Assistant to Apple Reminders?
