Connect Pomeroy to Raycast

How to connect Pomeroy to Raycast

Pomeroy lists the assistants it finds on this Mac, so install Raycast first if it is not there yet. Coming back to Pomeroy’s window re-checks.

Download Pomeroy and switch on your apps.
Open the download, drag Pomeroy into Applications, and open it. Pomeroy opens a setup window listing every app it can connect. Switch on the ones you want, and macOS asks you to approve each.

Press Set up beside Raycast.
Raycast has no configuration file Pomeroy can write and no install link Raycast documents, so Pomeroy puts the three values on your clipboard and tells you where they go.

Paste it into Raycast.
Paste the configuration into Raycast › Install MCP Server. In Raycast, open Install MCP Server, fill in Name, Transport and Command with the copied values, and save. The server then shows in Raycast's MCP server list, and Raycast AI can use its tools.

Ask Raycast something.
Try “What’s on my calendar today?” and a real answer comes back.

What Raycast can do with each app

Raycast does not show Pomeroy's tools.

Then press Set up again in Pomeroy, under Settings › Assistants: every way Pomeroy sets an assistant up is safe to run twice. Then check that the app you asked about is switched on in Pomeroy: an app that is off serves no tools. Pomeroy's menu bar shows whether Raycast is connected right now.

Pomeroy did not list Raycast.

Pomeroy looks for Raycast the way macOS does: by its app, by its command in the usual install locations, and by the folder it keeps its settings in. If Raycast is installed somewhere unusual, paste the configuration above by hand; the connection works whether or not Pomeroy found Raycast first.

Nothing comes back when I ask.

Check that the app you asked about is switched on in Pomeroy, and that the week's 50 free actions are not used up. Pomeroy says so in the answer if they are, and the count refills a week after it started.
